1. Engine

(depending on the year — DCI 11, DXi 11, DXi 13)

Common Rail injectors — wear of nozzles, leaks through washers, pressure loss.

High-pressure fuel pump — wear of plungers, chips getting into the fuel system.

Turbine — shaft play, oil leaks, loss of boost.

Overheating due to clogged radiator or fan failure.

Oil leaks through crankshaft seals and valve cover gaskets.

 

2. Transmission

ZF gearboxes — wear of synchronizers (especially 2-3 gear).

Optidriver — electronic failures, clutch actuator failure.

Oil leaks through gearbox seals and cardan shaft.

 

3. Electrics

Breaks and chafing of harnesses at the joints of the cabin and frame.

Oxidation of connectors (especially in areas with moisture and dirt).

Failures in BSI/UPC units — failure of headlights, windshield wipers, brake lights.

Malfunctions of the instrument panel (loss of readings, blinking lamps).

 

4. Suspension and steering

Wear of air springs of the cabin and rear axle suspension.

Play in steering rods and tips.

Destruction of silent blocks of reaction rods during heavy work.

 

5. Brake and pneumatic system

Air leakage in lines and valves.

ABS/EBS failures due to contamination or damage to wheel sensors.

Sticking of dehydrator valves due to irregular replacement of the cartridge.

 

6. Cabin and body

Leaking door and hatch seals.

Squeaks and play in the cabin lifting mechanism.

Corrosion at body attachment points and on the frame when working in aggressive conditions (quarries, winter salt).
