1. Engine

Mack E7 / E-Tech (Euro 2–3)

• Oil leaks through the valve cover and turbocharger gaskets.
• Worn fuel injection pump and injectors after 800,000 km.
• Turbine problems when overheating — loss of power, smoke.

Volvo Dxi13 (Euro 4–5)

• EGR and DPF (diesel particulate filter) system malfunctions — clogging, loss of power.
• Leaks in the cooling system (radiator, pipes).
• Worn fan drive.

2. Electrics

• Common problems with wiring harnesses in the cabin — fractures where they pass through the bulkhead, connector oxidation.
