Typical Scania brake system error codes:

1. EBS – Electronic Brake System

C111 — EBS module power failure

🔧 Cause: Broken/corroded wiring, relay or fuse failure

✔ Solution: Check power supply, replace damaged components

C113 — Brake circuit pressure sensor error

🔧 Cause: Damaged sensor or connector

✔ Solution: Check and replace the pressure sensor

C115 — Lost communication with ABS module

🔧 Cause: Problems in the CAN bus or control module

✔ Solution: Diagnostics of the CAN line, check connections

C119 — Rear axle brake valve block malfunction

🔧 Cause: Stuck or damaged valve

✔ Solution: Clean, replace valve if necessary

2. ABS – Anti-lock braking system

C121 — Wheel speed sensor: no signal

🔧 Cause: Damaged sensor, broken wire

✔ Solution: Check and replace the speed sensor

C122 — Speed sensor: signal out of range

🔧 Cause: Gap is broken, rust, toothed disk is damaged

✔ Solution: Clean, adjust or replace the sensor/disc

C124 — Different speed signal between wheels of the same axle

🔧 Cause: One of the sensors gives distorted data

✔ Solution: Compare data, replace the faulty sensor

3. Common errors

U0122 — Lost communication between the brake control unit and other ECUs

🔧 Cause: CAN network, modules, connectors

✔ Solution: Check communications and all units

C123 — Low pressure in the pneumatic system

🔧 Cause: Air leak, compressor malfunction

✔ Solution: Find and fix the leak, replace faulty components
