11 – Overrevving
At least one engine speed signal shows over 3000 rpm. The engine is closed down until speed is below 3000 rpm.
Warning lamp: Goes out if the fault disappears
12 – Main engine speed sensor
Signal is impossible or deviates from that of the back-up engine speed sensor. Limited torque.
Warning lamp: Goes out if the fault disappears
13 – Back-up engine speed sensor
Signal impossible or deviates from that of the main engine speed sensor. Limited torque.
Warning lamp: Goes out if the fault disappears
14 – Coolant temperature sensor
Signal impossible. Engine more difficult to start from cold. Idling speed raised to 600 rpm and not possible to adjust idling.
Warning lamp: Goes out if the fault disappears
15 – Charge air temperature sensor
Signal impossible. The engine has longer response times in cold weather as the smoke limiter is not working as it should.
Warning lamp: Goes out if the fault disappears
16 – Charge air pressure sensor
Signal impossible. Limited torque.
Warning lamp: Goes out if the fault disappears
21 – Control for cruise control
Signal impossible. Cruise control, hand throttle and idling adjustment not working.
Warning lamp: Goes out if the fault disappears
22 – Brake pedal switches
Switches giving different signals about pedal position. Cruise control, hand throttle and idling adjustment not working.
Warning lamp: Goes out if the fault disappears
24 – Throttle pedal / Brake pedal
Both pedals are pressed at the same time more than 20 times in a row when braking.
Warning lamp: Goes out if the fault disappears
25 – Throttle pedal sensor
Potentiometer signal is impossible or does not correspond to throttle activation switch. Idling speed only.
In certain cases the vehicle may be driven to the workshop.
Warning lamp: Goes out if the fault disappears
26 – Road speed signal
Signal impossible. Cruise control, hand throttle and idling adjustment not working.
Warning lamp: Goes out if the fault disappears
31 – Injection timing
Injection timing cannot be set correctly. Limited torque.
Warning lamp: Goes out if the fault disappears
32 – Control rack position
Control rack cannot be correctly set. Engine switched off.
Warning lamp: Goes out after power is switched off/on if the fault has gone
33 – Battery voltage
Battery voltage is below 9 volts.
Warning lamp: Goes out if the fault disappears
34 – Needle movement sensor
Signal impossible. Limited torque.
Warning lamp: Goes out if the fault disappears
35 – Control rack position sensor
Signal has defective contact.
Warning lamp: Goes out if the fault disappears
36 – Control rack position sensor
Signal impossible. Engine switched off.
Warning lamp: Goes out after power is switched off/on if the fault has gone
37 – Emergency stop switch
The emergency stop switch has been used. Engine is switched off if the vehicle is stationary. Otherwise, idling speed.
Warning lamp: Goes out when the emergency stop switch is reset
Code 43 - CAN Communication Communication with other control units not working. Resolution: Goes out after power is switched off/on if the fault has gone.
Code 61 - Shutdown Test Shutdown has been interrupted 10 times in a row. Limited torque next time the engine is started. Resolution: Goes out after power is switched off/on if the fault has gone.
Code 62 - Fuel Valve Engine speed does not drop sufficiently quickly after the engine is switched off. Limited torque next time the engine is started. Resolution: Goes out after power is switched off/on if the fault has gone.
Code 63 - Drive Stage Internal fault in control unit or external short circuit in the circuit controlled by the drive stage. Fuel valve does not work correctly. Resolution: Goes out after power is switched off/on if the fault has gone.
Code 64 - Supply Relay Relay has not interrupted power supply to control unit within 2 seconds of completed shutdown test. Resolution: Goes out only if the relay is removed.
Code 81 - Control Unit Internal fault in control unit. Engine switched off. Resolution: Goes out after power is switched off/on if the fault has gone.
Code 82 - Shutdown Test Fault discovered during shutdown test. Limited torque next time the engine is started. Resolution: Goes out after power is switched off/on if the fault has gone.
