Relay and Fuse Box Location
- Interior Fuse Box: Located at the bottom of the dashboard on the driver's side (behind the protective cover). Controls the interior lighting, instruments, audio system, and power windows.
- Engine Bay Fuse Box: Located on the right side of the engine compartment (near the battery). This fuse box contains the power fuses and main relays (starter, fuel pump, glow plugs, ABS).

Common electrical problems with the Isuzu Trooper 1998–2003
- 4WD problem: A flashing 4WD indicator is often caused by oxidized relay contacts or wiring on the front axle actuator.
- Instrument cluster "freezing": Lazy gauges often require checking the METER fuse or soldering the instrument panel circuit board.
- Lighting system: Burned contacts in the steering column switch (guitar), causing headlight failure. Installation of additional load-shedding relays is recommended.
